If your game group has ever had to leave someone out of a round of Sagrada, those days are numbered. Floodgate Games has opened preorders for Sagrada: Panorama, a new expansion that pushes the beloved dice-drafting puzzle game up to six players and introduces a shared-scoring twist.
Designed by Daryl Andrews and Adrian Adamescu, the same duo behind the original Sagrada, Panorama adds new player boards, personal Lightboards, and six new tool cards. The headline feature is Panorama Shared Objectives, which challenge adjacent players to coordinate their stained-glass window designs to score points together, while the game otherwise remains competitive. There are also Focal Point Private Objectives that reward placing specific dice in key positions within your grid.
Sagrada launched in 2017 and quickly became a staple of game night shelves, thanks to its simple teach (roll dice, draft them, slot them into your grid following placement rules) and gorgeous translucent dice. It remains one of the most approachable games in the hobby, making it a popular gateway for newer players.
The expansion ships with a new dice tray, a welcome quality-of-life addition for tables already overflowing with colourful cubes. It requires the Sagrada Refresh Edition base game (the updated 2024 reprint that replaced the original printing) and is available for preorder now.
If you have been meaning to get Sagrada back to the table, or if you have ever had to turn away a fifth friend, Panorama is shaping up to be a worthwhile addition.
