PARKS Europe Brings the Beloved Hiking Series to New Terrain

The trail leads across the Atlantic. Keymaster Games has announced PARKS Europe, a new entry in the PARKS series that swaps the American national park system for the natural beauty of Europe, from the shores of the Wadden Sea to the Dolomiti cliffs.

PARKS won players over with its gorgeous Fifty-Nine Parks poster art and accessible trail-movement gameplay, where hikers trek a randomised path collecting resources to visit national parks. Designed by Henry Audubon, the original has become one of the most recognisable gateway-plus games on the shelf, spawning two expansions (Nightfall and Wildlife) and a roll-and-write spinoff called Parks: Roll and Hike.

PARKS Europe introduces several new mechanics alongside the familiar hike-and-collect loop. A Via Ferrata system adds climbing routes to the trail. Conservation Projects let players support environmental initiatives for bonuses. And a new Park Cards set-collection element rewards hikers who visit complementary destinations.

Players will still gather resources and fatigue as they move along the trail, but can now rest at a Chalet, and a revamped photo-taking system promises fresh strategic decisions. No launch date confirmed yet, but Keymaster has flagged this as one of its flagship 2026 releases.

If the original PARKS is already a staple of your game night rotation, this European version looks like a proper sequel rather than just a reskin.
