If you've ever wanted to punch sci-fi Nazis around a table with your mates, Modiphius Entertainment has you covered. The publisher behind Star Trek Adventures and Dune: Adventures in the Imperium has announced a tabletop RPG based on the Wolfenstein franchise, developed in collaboration with Bethesda Softworks.
The game will use Modiphius's 2d20 system, where players roll two twenty-sided dice to resolve actions, with a momentum mechanic that keeps combat feeling cinematic. It's being adapted specifically for Wolfenstein's blend of action and resistance warfare. Players take on the role of resistance fighters in an alternate 1960s where the Nazis won World War II, drawing from the settings of Wolfenstein: The New Order and The New Colossus. Think high-powered weapons, stolen tech, and plenty of fury.
Modiphius has built a strong track record with licensed RPGs, having brought Fallout, Star Trek, Dune, and Conan to the tabletop. The 2d20 system is flexible enough to handle everything from political intrigue to all-out combat, which should suit Wolfenstein's mix of stealth and explosive action.
The crowdfunding campaign is planned for Gamefound in Fall 2026, with a sign-up page already live. No designer has been named yet, though Modiphius has a habit of bringing in writers with deep roots in the source material, so watch that announcement closely.
