If you have tried to buy Mechs vs. Minions in the last few years, you will know the pain. A cult cooperative game that vanished from shelves now changes hands for silly money. Good news for anyone who missed it. Riot Games and studio Incredible Dream are bringing it back with a 10th anniversary reprint, returning one of the most loved co-ops of the 2010s to tables.
Stop juggling Meetup, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets. One platform for your gaming group's events, RSVPs, and member management.
See how it worksReleased in 2016 and set in the League of Legends universe, Mechs vs. Minions casts 1 to 4 players as Yordles piloting clanking mechs through a 10-mission campaign of escalating chaos. The draw is its programming system. You slot gear cards into a command line to plan your mech's moves, then watch it all play out, often not quite the way you intended. That mix of puzzly planning and slapstick misfires, plus famously lavish components, kept it inside BoardGameGeek's Top 100 from launch despite being out of print since 2020.
The reprint is a notable team-up. Incredible Dream was co-founded by Jane Chung Hoffacker, an executive producer on the first season of the smash-hit animated series Arcane, so the people bringing it back clearly know the world inside out. Full details, pricing and presale information are due in summer 2026, with a global launch to follow later in the year. Riot is collecting sign-ups at playmvm.gg for anyone who wants first dibs.

Start organising for freeFor a lot of players this has been a grail game, the one they always meant to grab and never could. A reprint means you will finally be able to get a copy at a sane price and crack out one of the best gateway co-ops going for your group. If you have a crew who love working together against the board, keep this one on your radar.
