Less than 24 hours ago, Game Changer Home Edition was just another Kickstarter launch. Now it's nudging $1.5 million and Dropout has casually mentioned a Dimension 20 board game is in development too. Game Changer: Home Edition cleared its $40,000 Kickstarter goal within minutes, hit $350,000 inside 15 minutes of launch, and has now blown past $1.5 million in pledges.

Find events near youThe Home Edition is a party game, playable in any group size, that bundles three Game Changer formats into one box: Sam Says, Name a Number and Bingo. Each is built around the show's signature trick of changing the rules mid-round. Pledge tiers run from $19 (around £15) for the Sam Says Sampler, $39 (£30) for the full Home Edition and $159 (£120) for the loaded Ultimate edition. The campaign closes 6 June 2026.
The Dimension 20 news is the more interesting reveal for tabletop gamers. CEO Sam Reich told Variety the team has 'an idea that we're excited about' but won't share specifics yet. Dimension 20 has been running on Dropout since 2018 with Brennan Lee Mulligan as the lead GM, and a tabletop tie-in has been one of the most-asked-for products from the show's audience. Reich also hinted at potential digital adaptations down the line.

See how it worksFor game-night organisers, Game Changer is properly built for chaos: large groups, no rules until you're playing, and the kind of moment-generating absurdity that translates badly to YouTube clips but brilliantly to a Friday-night living room. Reich was even cheeky about whether his own face is hidden in the box. 'As far as there being a Sam somewhere in the box or not, I will not confirm or deny if there is.'
