Set up your group for freeIt is a 150-page, miniature-agnostic skirmish game set in the world of Forbidden Psalm, built to be fully compatible with Pirate Borg. Miniature-agnostic means you field whatever models you already own. Forbidden Psalm, the series it belongs to, is played with small warbands of miniatures in the grimy world of Mörk Borg, so the barrier to entry is low: a handful of minis, the rulebook, and some dice.
It comes from Kevin Rahman, who works as Will RD and created the Forbidden Psalm series, so this is a known quantity rather than a first-timer. The Pirate Borg hook is the draw. Pirate Borg, the swashbuckling RPG from Limithron, has a devoted following, and From the Depths Below is built to slot in as a narrative campaign with RPG content, so your skirmish battles can feed a longer story. The game packs a 13-scenario campaign, more than 40 monsters, and a pile of new relics, weapons and treasures, with Westfalia Miniatures providing official models for anyone who wants purpose-made crews. Pirate ships were on the booth at the show.
