The tabletop RPG world's biggest awards have thrown the doors open to the public, and your vote is now live. Public voting for the 2026 ENnie Awards runs from today, 10 July, until 19 July, giving anyone who plays roleplaying games a say in who takes the top honours at the ceremony on 31 July.
Got a regular group? Create a private community, poll for the best date, vote on games, and let your friends RSVP in one place.
Set up your group for freeThe ENnies work in two rounds. A panel of elected judges draws up the shortlist, then the general public votes on the finalists across two dozen categories covering everything from best game and best rules to art, writing and accessories. This year adds a brand new Best Solo Game category, a nod to how popular solo roleplaying has become.
Leading the pack is Legend in the Mist, the rustic fantasy RPG from Son of Oak Game Studio and City of Mist designer Amit Moshe. Built around a stat-free system of descriptive tags and just two dice, it is up for the headline honours including Best Game and Product of the Year. Darrington Press's Daggerheart, the Critical Role team's fantasy RPG, and indie horror hit The Crooked Moon are close behind with strong showings.
Run game nights? Backseat Gamer handles RSVPs, waitlists, date polling, and game voting so you can focus on playing.
Start organising for freeThe winners are revealed at a livestreamed ceremony at Gen Con in Indianapolis on Friday 31 July. Until then, the ballot is open to all, so if you have opinions about the best books of the past year, this is your moment to back them.
Not sure which nominee to try first? Round up some players and find a group near you to dig in.
