DieRing II Hides a Full Polyhedral Set Inside a Brass Ring

Looking for the most extra way to roll initiative? London-based The BoardGame Zone has returned to Kickstarter with DieRing II: Relics of Fate, a wearable brass ring that pops open to reveal an entire polyhedral set tucked inside. It is gloriously over the top in the way only proper RPG accessories can be.

Run game nights? Backseat Gamer handles RSVPs, waitlists, date polling, and game voting so you can focus on playing.

Each ring runs on a hinge with a magnetic clasp, and inside sits a full d4 through d20 set with miniature 5-9mm dice. There are four designs to pick from: Gravebound Tome for necromancy fans, Runic Oath for the warrior types, Elven Crest for the elves, and Arcane Sigil for the wizards. Both silvered brass and antique brass finishes are on offer.

This is the third dice-storage product from The BoardGame Zone after the original DieRing in late 2024 and the DiceDangle pendant earlier this year. Calling DieRing II a sequel is generous, but the new designs are sharper and the dice are now small enough to actually be readable rather than purely ceremonial.

Stop juggling Meetup, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets. One platform for your gaming group's events, RSVPs, and member management.

See how it works

There's a fair question about whether you'd ever roll with these in anger, given a 9mm d20 is closer to jewellery than a precision tool. But that's not really the point. This is the ring you slip on at session start, dramatically reveal during a clutch moment, and then put away for safekeeping. Any DM worth their salt will let you re-roll once just for the theatre of it.

The campaign runs until 5 June 2026 with pledge tiers spanning a single ring up to full collector sets. Check the campaign details on Tabletop Sentinel for current early-bird prices. If you're after something to wear at Dragonmeet or UK Games Expo that says "I take this hobby slightly too seriously", you've found it.
