The Official Cyberpunk Trading Card Game closes its Kickstarter campaign tomorrow evening, having blown past $22 million from more than 37,000 backers. That makes it the most-funded tabletop game in crowdfunding history by a comfortable margin, overtaking the Cosmere RPG's roughly $15 million total three weeks ago.

See how it worksSo what makes this TCG stand apart? Instead of whittling down a health pool, players build crews of characters equipped with gear and programs, then fight over Gig Dice. Each turn, you move a die from your reserves into your active Gig Area and use your crew to steal dice from your opponent. Get caught off guard, and they steal yours. The first player holding six or more Gig Dice at the start of their turn wins. Matches wrap up in around 15 minutes in a head-to-head constructed format, and the tug-of-war rhythm gives it a feel quite distinct from Magic or Lorcana.
WeirdCo developed the game in partnership with CD Projekt Red, and the studio has publicly laid out a five-year roadmap of planned content. The first wave of products ships in Q3 2026, with a second wave following in Q4. If you want to see the game in action before committing, gameplay demos and preview videos are available on the campaign page.
