If the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime left you wanting more time with Maine's crew, there's a board game for that. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners – Hunted from No Loading Games opened pre-orders on April 2, with a full release planned for September 2026.
Hunted is a cooperative game for up to four players that runs about 25 minutes per session. Players take on the roles of characters from the hit Netflix anime, including Maine, David, and Lucy, coordinating their actions to complete missions across Night City. The modular map system, with art by Laure De Chateaubourg, means the layout changes between plays, keeping repeat sessions fresh.
The game draws on Cyberpunk 2077 mechanics like Street Cred and cyberware upgrades, and references episode titles and crew dynamics from the show. Three tutorial scenarios ease new players in before the difficulty ramps up. No Loading Games is a newer studio making its mark with this title, so how the final product shapes up will be worth keeping an eye on.
This is the latest Cyberpunk tabletop release in a big year for the franchise at the table. WeirdCo's Cyberpunk Trading Card Game has been smashing Kickstarter records with over $15 million raised. Where the TCG is competitive and collectible, Hunted takes the cooperative route, letting you team up with friends rather than face off against them.
For anime fans who also happen to be board gamers, this could be a great excuse to rally the crew for game night come September.
