Bushiroad has announced the Palworld Official Card Game, a competitive two-player trading card game set to launch worldwide on 30 July 2026 with simultaneous English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese editions.
The game sees players build teams of Pals, gather resources, and construct structures to control the field and work towards victory. It launches with two trial decks and a booster pack, following the familiar Bushiroad TCG model.
Demo sessions have already begun at Bushiroad EXPO events from March 2026, with prototype deck giveaways at the Chicago EXPO. For UK fans, there is encouraging news — a Bushiroad spokesperson confirmed to Tabletop Gaming that the company is "currently in talks to exhibit" at UK Games Expo in late May, adding that if they attend, "we will definitely hold demo sessions there."
The competitive scene is already being mapped out. Regional qualifier tournaments are scheduled to begin in autumn 2026, building towards the first Palworld Official Card Game World Championship at Card Game Festival 2027 in Tokyo.
Palworld, the creature-catching survival game from Pocketpair, became a global sensation when it launched in early access in January 2024, selling over 25 million copies across PC and Xbox. The card game adaptation joins a growing trend of video game properties making the jump to tabletop, following recent successes like the Cyberpunk TCG and Terraria: The Board Game.
Presales are expected to open approximately one month before the official launch date.
