Bella Vista Brings Bruno Cathala's City-Builder to UK Shops

Bruno Cathala fans, take note. Bella Vista, the new family city-builder from the Kingdomino and 7 Wonders Duel designer, has arrived at Hachette Boardgames UK, bringing it within easy reach of British shops and online retailers.

Run game nights? Backseat Gamer handles RSVPs, waitlists, date polling, and game voting so you can focus on playing.

Co-designed with Andrea Mainini, Bella Vista has two to four architects competing for the best plots in a shared modular city. You pay over the odds for prime locations near parks and rivers, juggle the mayor's zoning rules, and cash in once you've placed your eight buildings. Richest architect wins. Studio H pitches it for ages 10 and up with games running about 45 minutes, sitting comfortably in the gateway-to-mid-weight slot Cathala has been mining for years.

Cathala has 142 published games with 19 in BGG's top 1000, plus a Spiel des Jahres trophy for Kingdomino in 2017. The 3D buildings sit on a modular grid that changes layout each game, giving Bella Vista proper table presence and decent replay value.

Got a regular group? Create a private community, poll for the best date, vote on games, and let your friends RSVP in one place.

UK retailers including Zatu and Magic Madhouse have it listed off the back of the Hachette UK release, so it should be easy to grab in the next week or two. If you've been waiting for the next Cathala family game to slot into your group's regular rotation, this looks like an easy sell. Find a game night near you and bring Bella Vista along for its first outing.
