Larian's Baldur's Gate 3 is getting its own publishing line, and the lead title is exactly the sort of thing that justifies a long table after game night. A Feast for a Tenday, the Official Baldur's Gate 3 Cookbook, lands 3 November from Ten Speed Press with 65 recipes pulled from the game.
Stop juggling Meetup, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets. One platform for your gaming group's events, RSVPs, and member management.
See how it worksThe book is written by Andrew Wheeler and runs 208 pages with 45 hero photographs and chapter-opener illustrations. Recipes are organised by course and camp location and include a Beregost blue cheese souffle, garlicky buttery potatoes, a scotched owlbear egg, an Emperor's fiddlehead soup, sun-dappled paella and frostkiss ale. Dishes meant to be shared are marked "Romanceable" because of course they are.
It anchors a four-book Baldur's Gate 3 program Penguin Random House announced this week. The Necromancy of Thay Notebook ships first on 21 July from Clarkson Potter, recreating the in-game tome with embossed skull, foil stamping and illustrated clasps. The Official Baldur's Gate 3 Coloring Book follows on 11 August. And on 29 September, Hugo and Nebula winner T. Kingfisher delivers a tie-in novel centred on Astarion, the franchise's terminally online elf rogue.

Find events near youThis is the broadest crossover treatment a video-game-spawned D&D property has had since the Critical Role merch boom. Baldur's Gate 3 won three Game of the Year awards in 2023 and has driven players back into 5e en masse, which makes a four-book licensing deal feel less like a Larian victory lap and more like Wizards finally noticing where the audience went. PRH says the program continues into 2027 with more titles still under wraps.
The cookbook is the hook, though. If your group has a rotating dinner host, this is the year to drop a tenday feast on them. Find a game night near you and book the kitchen.
