If your game nights have room for a horror twist, Exquisite Corpses: The Game wants a seat at the table. It is a card game adaptation of the horror comic by James Tynion IV and Michael Walsh, made by Tynion's own studio Tiny Onion, and it is on Kickstarter now.

Set up your group for freeIt is a social battle royale for 4 to 12 players. Everyone picks a favourite killer, then it is attack, bluff and barter until one murderer is left standing. The pitch is for fans of both trading-card staples like Magic and big-table party games like Werewolf, and you only need the cards and a few dice to play.
Tynion is one of the most decorated writers in comics right now, an Eisner winner several times over and co-creator of horror hits Something Is Killing the Children, The Nice House on the Lake and The Department of Truth. Exquisite Corpses, drawn by Eisner-winning artist Michael Walsh, comes from that same stable, and the game has been designed and playtested alongside the comic from early on.
Run game nights? Backseat Gamer handles RSVPs, waitlists, date polling, and game voting so you can focus on playing.

The campaign runs until 15 June, with games due to ship in 2027, so this is one to back now and enjoy later. A killer-versus-killer bluffing game that scales all the way to 12 is a rare thing, so if you regularly wrangle a big crowd, it is well worth a game night.
